MIDLAND GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY

May Meeting, May 17, 2017

The Annual Meeting of the Midland Genealogical Society will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church (corner of St. Andrews and S. Saginaw) on Wednesday evening May 17, 2017. The evening will begin at 6:00 pm, with a pot-luck dinner, followed by the Annual Meeting.

The program for the evening will begin about 7:00 pm, and will feature the return of Katherine R. Willson, a professional speaker and genealogist from Ann Arbor. Ms. Willson is a nationally known public speaker and genealogist who has facilitated workshops and seminars at RootsTech 2015, Michigan’s 2015 Abrams Seminar in Lansing, and many other venues. She has taught at all levels of genealogy for the past fourteen years and her presentations give listeners tools for their own research.

Katherine’s subject for this meeting: USING FACEBOOK TO BREAK DOWN GENEALOGICAL BRICK WALLS.  This promises to be an entertaining and informative evening.

The Midland Genealogical Society’s meetings are free of charge, and are always open to the public.
