Unless otherwise stated, meetings of the Midland Genealogical Society are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from September thru May(except December). Please note location listed with the program.  Please check back before attending meeting to verify the location.   Social time is immediately following the presentation. Visitors are always welcome.

MGS PROGRAMS 2021-2022

Sept. 15     “Using GenDetective”, presented my Walt Bennett, Zoom, meeting invite to be sent via email.

Oct. 20      “Proper method for cleaning a tombstone”, presented by Justin Frost.  This program will be presented in the Midland Cemetery at 2:00pm.  All are welcome to attend this program.

Nov. 17     “The Mormon Battalion”,  presented by Kevin Henson.  Zoom, meeting invite to be sent via email.  This program is being presented jointly with the Grace A. Dow Library.

Jan. 19     “Finding Non-Traditional Records”, presented by Jessica Trotter.  In-Person at St. Johns Evangelical Church, Midland.

Feb. 16     “Researching Polish Family History”, presented by Patricia Yocum.

Apr. 20   “Researching in German Civil and Parish Records”, presented by Alexander Tolksdorf.

May 18    “Researching World War I and World War II records”, presented by Cynthia Grostick.
