Unless otherwise stated, meetings of the Midland Genealogical Society are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from September thru May(except December). Please note location listed with the program.  Please check back before attending meeting to verify the location.   Social time is immediately following the presentation. Visitors are always welcome.

Oct. 21      Case study, presented by Bob Snyder

Nov. 18     Genealogy Programs,  presented by Walt Bennett

Jan. 20      “Fold3 & Newspaper.com”, presented by Leo LeFever

Feb. 17     “Roundtable discussion and show and tell”,  all members can participate in this one.

Mar. 17    “Michigan and the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC)”, presented by Hillary Pine, of the Department of Natural Resources.  She is a Northern Lower Peninsula Historian, stationed at Hartwick Pines.

Apr. 21    “Preserving old photos, documents and other items”, presented by Crystal Laudeman, an archivist with the Midland Historical Society.

May 19    “The Good, the Bad, and the Deviant: Researching Corrections Records”, presented by Jill Arnold, a Digital engagement Archivist at the archives of Michigan.  This would be our annual meeting which includes a potluck.  It will be determined prior to this date if that will happen.
