These are the scheduled programs for the 2021-2022 season. All meetings take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Midland, Michigan 48640 unless otherwise noted.

Sept. 15 2021 7pm Using Gen Detective, Walt Bennett presents this program via a zoom call to demonstrate the Gen Detective program, which is useful when planning a research trip.

Oct. 20, 2021 2pm Cleaning Tombstones, Justin Frost of Past Preservations will present a program demonstrating how to clean different type of tombstones and show some of the repairs he has completed. This program will take place at the Midland cemetery.

Nov. 17, 2021 7pm The Mormon Batillions, by Kevin Henson. This program is co-sponsored by the Grace A. Dow library of Midland. This will be a zoom presentation. Non-members should signup at the Grace A Dow library, providing your email address so you may receive the invite link.

Jan. 19, 2022 7pm Finding Non-Traditional Records, Jessica Trotter will present this program in Person at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Midland.

Feb. 16, 2022 7pm Researching Polish Family History, Patricia Yocum, will present this program via Zoom.

Apr. 20, 2022 7pm Researching German Civil and Parish Records, Alexander Tolksdorf will present this in person at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Midland.

May 18, 2022 6pm Annual Meeting and Program. Researching World War I and World War II records by Cynthia Grostick will be presented at 7pm, following our annual potluck at 6pm. This will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Midland.
